I have shared some of my core beliefs, and now I want to offer a more in-depth vision that expands on each of my three focus areas. These additional thoughts reflect the value and priorities I believe are essential to supporting our students, empowering our educators, and strengthening our community. 

Student Success: Prioritizing a Well-Rounded Education: I believe in a well-rounded education--one that supports academics, but also includes the arts, speciality subjects, CTE, athletics, and a wide range of extracurricular opportunities. These experiences help students grow as individuals, discover their passions, and build lifelong skills. I will advocate for:

• Access to the arts, speciality subjects, CTE, athletics, and a wide range of extracurricular opportunities
• Challenging academic opportunities that help students reach their full potential 
• An inclusive curriculum that meets student where they are 
• Innovative teaching strategies and personalized learning to support diverse needs
• An environment where our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally
• Data-driven decisions to ensure students receive the right support--whether that means enriching advanced learners, or providing extra support for students who are struggling. 

Teacher Support: Our teachers are the backbone of the district. It's  crucial that we empower them to be the best educators they can be by:

• Ensuring competitive salaries and benefits to attract and retain top talent. To keep our schools among the best, we must invest in our educators. . 
• Providing high-quality professional development opportunities
• Reducing administrative burdens, so teachers can focus on what they do best--teaching. 
• Fostering a supportive work environment where teachers feel valued and heard
• Encouraging collaboration among teachers to share best practices and resources

Strong Community Partnerships: Schools thrive best when they are connected to their communities. I will work to: 

• Expand partnerships with local businesses and universities to create career and learning opportunities for studentsStrengthen relationships between schools, parents, and local organizations
• Encourage community involvement in decision-making and school activities
• Advocate for additional resources and funding from local and state agencies
• Promote volunteerism, mentorship programs, and parent engagement in schools
